Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

To use Goals.Garden, you must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required by your local laws to use online services.

2. Account and Authentication

Goals.Garden uses AT Protocol authentication. You log in using your existing AT Protocol identity (such as a Bluesky account or other AT Protocol Personal Data Server).

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your AT Protocol credentials. We do not store your password. Any activity that occurs through your authenticated session is your responsibility.

3. The Service

Goals.Garden allows you to:

• Create and track personal goals
• Mark goals as complete
• Add notes and photos to goal completions
• Optionally share your goals and progress publicly
• View your goal completion history and statistics

4. Your Content

What is Content

"Content" means anything you create or upload through Goals.Garden, including goals, completion records, notes, and photos.

Where Your Content Lives

Your Content is stored in your AT Protocol repository (your PDS). Goals.Garden reads from and writes to your repository.

Goal data and completions: In addition to your repository, we index and store your goal data and completion records on our backend servers to provide the Service (such as displaying statistics and enabling faster access).

Photos and media: We do NOT store photos or other media you upload. These are written directly to your AT Protocol repository only.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your Content. You agree that your Content will comply with all applicable laws and will not contain:

• Illegal material
• Content that infringes others' intellectual property rights
• Malicious code or links
• Content that violates others' privacy

Photos and Uploads

When you add photos or other media to your goal completions, this Content is stored in your AT Protocol repository. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any photos or media, and that such Content is appropriate and lawful.

Because uploaded Content goes to your repository and may be publicly accessible depending on your sharing settings, exercise care when deciding what to upload.

Sharing

When you choose to share goals or completions publicly, that Content becomes visible to others on the AT Protocol network. Due to the decentralized nature of the AT Protocol, Content you share publicly may be accessed, cached, or displayed by other applications and services on the network.

Our License to Your Content

We do not claim ownership of your Content. By using Goals.Garden, you grant us a limited license to access, display, and transmit your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service—for example, to read your goals from your repository and display them in the app.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Third-Party Services

Goals.Garden may link to or interact with third-party services, including other AT Protocol applications. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

7. Hosting and Infrastructure

Goals.Garden is hosted using Cloudflare services. We use PostHog for product analytics. Your use of the Service is also subject to these providers' terms and policies as they apply to end users.

8. Termination

By You

You may stop using Goals.Garden at any time. You may request deletion of your data from our servers by contacting us. Your Content in your AT Protocol repository remains unless you delete it directly through your PDS provider.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to Goals.Garden at any time if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. We may also discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Goals.Garden is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

We are not responsible for any Content created by users or any third-party content accessed through the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of Goals.Garden.

Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless vāyumaṇḍala and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service. Your continued use of Goals.Garden after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
